Which Dive Computer Reviews Can You Trust?

You might not want to buy a lot of scuba gear, like a BCD, because they are heavy and take up a lot of space when you are traveling. That is totally understandable and most divers don't mind using the scuba gear from the dive shops that they visit. There is one piece of scuba equipment, though, that all divers must buy for themselves... and it's lightweight and won't take up any extra space in your suitcase! I'm talking about a dive computer and in case you didn't know this already, it's a watch that you wear on your wrist! I know, genius!

So before you run out and buy the first one you see, please listen to my one request... read dive computer reviews before you order it. Yes, there are a lot of advertisements out there, but dive computer reviews are different. These are descriptions and stories from real divers who have used the computers and they usually give a rating along with their write-up.

When you are reading the dive computer reviews, make sure that you look for computers that are getting 4 or 5 stars and that have certain features that only the best dive computers have. For example, if you see a lot of dive computer reviews for one style and everyone is saying that it's really easy to read the display underwater, that it can read data from more than one cylinder and that has warning buzzers that go off if you are ascending too quickly, then you have found a winner!

A lot of the dive computer reviews that you see online will discuss the brands, such as Oceanic, Suunto or Aeris. Honestly, in my opinion they are all great companies with good reputations so as long as the ratings are awesome and you like the design, you should order it. You will probably also find some good deals from online dive stores when you are reading the reviews so take advantage of those!

Now get out there and find real dive computer reviews that will help you find the best one for you!
